The Surrey colleges are currently involved in a vocational project, having won a bid from LSIS, in which they work with 15 Surrey Schools to identify students who need support to reach their level 3 potential. These students will then work on a project with local business partners and the sixth form colleges for three days.

Proposed outcomes:

• Reduce NEETs
• Raise students' awareness of their own capabilities
• Strengthen relationships with schools
• Improve progression protocols
• Improve engagement between business and education
