Equality and Diversity Training - Woking College

An Equality and Diversity training day will be held on 23rd September at Woking College. The course will be led by Dr Christine Rose, Education Consultant.
Background
The New Inspection Framework has a much stronger focus on equal opportunities. There will be a significantly greater scrutiny of equality progress and practice. In addition, the inspection grade for equal opportunities, for the first time, is a 'limiting grade'. The grade will contribute to, and may limit inspection grades for Leadership and Management, and Overall Effectiveness.
The training
The day will focus on Equaliy and Diversity training, and the new inspection framework. The event will explore the key aspects that inspectors look for when judging equal opportunities under the new inspection framework.
