This course is designed specifically for managers in S7 Sixth Form Colleges who do not have direct curriculum responsibility, but do manage staff and resources. It has been run many times with excellent feedback.
The aim is to develop the leadership skills of each participant, demonstrable through a completed strategic change plan for their own implementation back in their college.
The one day course has been carefully planned and considered by a team of S7 senior managers to focus as tightly as possible on the changing needs and expertise demanded of Support Staff Managers.
The programme takes place away from the pressures and pace of the College environment at a training venue set in the heart of the Surrey countryside, near Woking. With a mix of delegates from across the S7 Colleges, all together in one place, it is hoped that there will be plenty of opportunity to make informal connections and networks to discuss and solve issues facing individuals in colleges.
