Postponed until 2021-22: Teaching Excellence Programme Days 1 and 2 (residential)

This event has been postponed until the next academic year.

This is the first two days of the S7 Teaching Excellence Programme.

The programme is aimed at really good teachers who wish to challenge themselves - and to be challenged - to become excellent teachers.  The course will demand honesty and self-criticism, the setting of personal targets, and commitment not only to delegates' improvement, but to the improvement of other teachers through an INSET activity back in their own college.

Delegates will undertake a project directly concerned with the improvement of their own teaching.  Each delegate will have a mentor from their own college.  They will also be paired up to work together on each other’s teaching for two peer mentoring days in Spring and Summer 2021.

The first two days on 13th and 14th January 2020 are a residential and the programme will be available to download in due course.

Further information about the entire programme can be found in the Development and Training section of this website: Teaching Excellence Programme

A map and directions for Gorse Hill can be found here: S7 Leadership Venue Information

Days 3 and 4 take place in the college environment in Spring/Summer 2021 while Day 5 will be held at Gorse Hill in October 2021 (date to be confirmed).

If you are interested in attending a future course please contact your Staff Development Manager in your college.
