New Heads of Department Training - 1st half day, BHASVIC

This annual event for the S7 Consortium comes from the acknowledgement that we have a number of new staff amongst the consortium each year who have just moved into Heads of Department posts for the first time.

The programme is split into two half day sessions, the first being at BHASVIC during the morning of Tuesday, 23rd November and the second taking place online during the afternoon of Wednesday, 1st December.

With contributions from experienced current and former Heads of Department, this event will cover topics such as using value-added as a tool for moving students on as well as some of the team and people-focused issues, such as leading your team and observing lessons within your department area.
