Teaching Excellence Programme 2022-23 Days 1 and 2 (residential), Gorse Hill, Woking

This is the first two days of the 2022-23 S7 Teaching Excellence Programme.

The programme is aimed at really good teachers who wish to challenge themselves - and to be challenged - to become excellent teachers.  The course will demand honesty and self-criticism, the setting of personal targets, and commitment not only to delegates' improvement, but to the improvement of other teachers through an INSET activity back in their own college. 

Delegates will undertake a project directly concerned with the improvement of their own teaching.  Each delegate will have a mentor from their own college.  They will also be paired up to work together on each other’s teaching for two peer mentoring days in Spring and Summer 2022.

The first two days on 11th and 12th October 2022 are a residential at Gorse Hill, Woking.

Days 3 and 4 take place in the college environment in Spring/Summer 2022 while Days 5 and 6 will be held as a 1.5 day residential at Gorse Hill in October 2023 (date to be confirmed).
